The Pop Star Embraces a Dark Alter Ego of Her Own Identity in Fictional Documentary Preview

Charli XCX is preparing for a significant cinematic appearance in 2026, kicking off with the fictional documentary titled The Moment.

Throughout the movie, she embodies what she refers to as a dark version of herself.

It’s the truest representation of the music business that I’ve ever seen, the performer remarked.

She elaborated in a discussion: This isn’t a concert film, but the idea stemmed from the expectation to create one.

A Glimpse into The Film

The initial preview, unveiled on this week, mixes real clips from her live performances with made-up off-stage interactions.

The mockumentary is directed and co-written by Aidan Zamiri, who revealed that the narrative focuses on a scenario where the singer made entirely different choices throughout the promotion of her smash hit album Brat.
